About Us
Welcome to the home page of the Canadian Foundation for the United World College of the Atlantic. Established in 2006, the Canadian Foundation aims to raise funds to send Canadians aged 16 to 18 years old to study the International Baccalaureate at the United World College of the Atlantic, in Wales, UK.
As one of the nations that helped found Atlantic College, Canada has always supported its efforts, but Canadian membership at the College has dwindled of late. The Canadian Foundation has been established to reinvigorate the Canadian presence by raising funds in Canada for more scholarships to send more students to AC.
We are pleased to report that we sponsored our first Canadian scholar at Atlantic College in September 2009.
Who's involved?
The Canadian Foundation was established by four alumni in Toronto, Ontario, with enthusiastic support from the development office at Atlantic College and a network of interested alumni across Canada.
