Applying through the UWC National Committees

UWC National Committees largely comprise  local volunteers, often UWC alumni, who help promote UWC and its colleges and who are responsible for interviewing and selecting future students on behalf of the movement. There are National Committees in over 140 countries; some countries may have a Selection Contact rather than a National Committee.

Each UWC National Committee has its own application/selection process and deadlines. For more information on the National Committee in your country and to find out if you are eligible to apply contact your National Committee or UWC International Office.

If selected, a place at one of your preferred colleges is likely but cannot be guaranteed. A number of other factors are considered by the National Committees when assigning places to successful applicants - such as interests, personality, student body and funding available to individual Committees.
