A Warm 'Thank You' to our recent 50th Anniversary Volunteers!

This month 8 volunteers including 6 alumni, 1 ex-member of staff and a partner of a staff member, joined forces for a week to help garden, paint and tidy areas of the campus in preparation for the 50th anniversary in September.
In a collaboration led by Jill Longson, Vice Chair of the Board of Governors at the college and Siân Jones, UWC Atlantic College Governor, volunteers included Joanna Knatchbull, Ella Du Breuil, Ghis Brandolini, Jan Smith, Suzie Grenfell and Sue Dean.
The Hugo Gryn Room, the Val Duncan garden and the seafront were the key areas of the team’s work.
Jill said, ‘We are happy to be making a small contribution towards this most beautiful campus. A warm thank you to everyone who volunteered.’
Ali Taylor, Clerk of Works at the college said, 'The volunteers are doing a good job, it is good to have them on board.’
