UWC Atlantic, founded in 1962, is the original United World College. As a Carpenter, you will join a skilled team of colleagues undertaking maintenance across the campus, incorporating working in the Castle, classrooms, offices, student houses and employee houses. Although the role is primary carpentry, you may also be required to undertake work that sits outside of the primary work.
In order to provide excellent service, you will ensure that all equipment, materials, stock and plant are maintained and in good condition and you will have the ability to read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
Organised, committed and hardworking, you will have previous experience in a physically demanding post and possess good levels of manual dexterity and have good carpentry and joining skills.
