Atlantic CLIMATE STRIKE

In mid September, just ahead of the UN Climate Action Summit, thousands of young people in Wales, joined millions around the world, by taking to the streets as part of one of the largest climate demonstrations in history. Student Beth Irving led the protest.

A march staged in Cardiff was one of more than 200 across the UK and over 3,000 globally. UWC Atlantic Student and joint SusCo Chair, Beth Irving, who was one of the organisers of the Cardiff protest was interviewed by the media and said: "Climate and ecological breakdown are ticking away while we fixate on party politics.  Our message is to say that the time is up and we cannot ignore the alarm any longer."
