Global Leadership Programme Terms & Conditions 2018

Bookings and Course Structure

Once you have been informed that you have successfully secured a place on the Global Leadership Programme you are required to make full payment within 10 working days after receiving your invoice. Payments can be made via BACs or cheque.

Joining instructions which contain important information regarding the course will be sent to all students and parents/guardians by e-mail in advance of the course. Please inform us of any changes to your e-mail address after submitting an application form.

Atlantic College reserves the right to cancel the course up to seven days before the start date due to unforeseen circumstances or if numbers enrolled have not reached the minimum requirement. Whilst all efforts will be made to offer a suitable alternative course, if this is not practicable or is not deemed suitable a full refund will offered.

Refunds will only be given in the event of the course being cancelled by UWC Atlantic College. All monies paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.  The College reserves the right to cancel any bookings not fully or partly paid within 10 working days of sending an invoice for payment.

Application for the Summer Programme is now closed, any late entries will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

If a course is full, names will be added to a waiting list on a first come, first served basis. Please note that this does not guarantee a place on the course. You will be contacted prior to the course if a place becomes available. You can also register your interest for next year.

Welfare

UWC Atlantic College reserves the right to withdraw any participant from a course for behaviour we deem to be detrimental to the smooth-running of the course or which might interfere with the safety of any other participants on the course.

Regulations made for the health, safety, welfare and comfort of course participants must be observed.

Residential participants will reside in College boarding houses and will be required to share a bedroom and bathroom with up to three other participants of the same sex. Bed linen is provided but participants should bring their own towels and toiletries.

Atlantic College cannot accept responsibility for any personal loss or damage to property or any injury sustained by participants.

Course participants are strongly advised to take out insurance to cover accidents or cancellation. First aid cover is available throughout the course and minor analgesics (paracetamol). By signing the Application Form you are giving consent for this treatment if required unless written objection is received in advance. Any further treatment required will be administered by a local surgery or hospital. Names, photographs and videos may be taken and used electronically for marketing purposes, online and/or in print. Objections will be respected - please make these in writing to the Course Manager no later than 72 hours before the course start date.
