Progression of Tsunami Boat

Tsunami boat

A group of students worked down the seafront during project week to complete the tsunami rescue boat that will be sent to Japan later in the summer.  They completed the work on the hull, sanded it, painted, waxed and made a mould so that we can make future UWC Atlantic College boats from it.  The inflatable tube was also prepared and is ready to be attached.   The finished boat should be ready for its formal launch later next week.

‘From the person who donated £20, to the person who donated £2000 - thank you. I am extremely grateful and indebted… I will do everything in my power to make sure that the contribution made is going to mean something more…’
