Students learn about European history in Berlin

Students learn about European history

This project week, 24 students went to Berlin to learn about European history and to explore an exciting capital. Highlights included a guided tour through the Reichstag, a guided tour through the Stasi-Prison in Hohenschönhausen, Jewish Museum, Neues Museum, Pergamon Museum, Technisches Museum, various memorial sights (Holocaust memorial, Checkpoint Charlie) and a visit to a social organisation ‘Berliner Tafel’ that distributes food to more than 125.000 Berliners every month.

‘From the person who donated £20, to the person who donated £2000 - thank you. I am extremely grateful and indebted… I will do everything in my power to make sure that the contribution made is going to mean something more…’
