Lifeguard Team Complete Patrolling Season

The college's RNLI Volunteer Lifeguard team recently completed their patrolling season.  They patrolled 36 days consecutively on ten beaches in the Vale of Glamorgan and Pembrokeshire.  Together the team amassed over 2000 hours of community service through their lifeguarding, which equates to about 80 hours for each student. On patrol they have helped to deal with several major first aid incidents, a lot of minor ones and given a great deal of safety advice to the general public.
