Our Outdoor Faculty team have been busy this last month with a range of different activities. Here are just a few of the main events:
Our Director of Outdoors, Tom Partridge, ran a National Water Safety Management Programme: Instructor Course. It was a busy four days of training helping to further the message of water safety.
The Atlantic Outdoors team also took part in staff training; refining their map reading skills and emergency protocols. Special thanks to Hawk Associates for providing first aid recap.
Simon Neenan, our Deputy Director of Outdoor Learning, has been running a CTC Trail Leader Award for staff from Rhondda Cynon Taff. A course enjoyed by all, based around trail leadership and safe practice.
