'Stretching Thoughts' Sculptures

'Stretching Thoughts' Sculptures

Sculptor Nadim Karam, as pictured, has kindly donated two large-scale installations to Atlantic College. The sculptures in question form part of a series called 'Stretching Thoughts', focusing on the condition of the contemporary human mind, its connectivity to the world and the spread of ideas and creative energy beyond limits and borders.

As notions of local space and boundaries are transforming, 'Stretching Thoughts' embody the tangled web of human dreams and fantasies that seek ever-distant horizons.

The installation of the sculptures was celebrated by Alumni and staff, as we thanked Nadim for his generosity. Click here for more photographs from the day...

‘From the person who donated £20, to the person who donated £2000 - thank you. I am extremely grateful and indebted… I will do everything in my power to make sure that the contribution made is going to mean something more…’
