Only Boys Aloud stay at the College!

Only Boys Aloud stay at the College

Last week the College was fortunate enough to welcome Only Boys Aloud to UWC Atlantic College for their annual Principality Only Boys Aloud Academi.

This year's Academi consisted of 32 boys and was directed by Tim Rhys Evans MBE - Founder and Director of Only Men Aloud.

All of the staff members from Atlantic College were very excited to have the boys staying, and were really enjoying hearing their voices echo around the castle when they were rehearsing for their upcoming shows.

Although there were 32 boys staying at the College, Only Boys Aloud is actually made up of 180 boys from all over Wales, aged between 13-19.

Jonathan Butterell, a Choreographer and Director who has worked in the West End and on Broadway stated how he loves coming to Atlantic College, "I love the setting, the friendly atmosphere, the history... it's a week in my year that I always look forward too."

The boys are now looking forward to their upcoming shows in Cardiff, Wiltshire & London.
