On receipt of the jubilee book 'The Savior in Need' about the history of one hundred years of rescue brigade in the Netherlands, King Willem-Alexander met volunteer rescuers and employees of the rescue brigade on the anniversary day. He talked about prevention, water assistance and lifeguard training. The King also made reference to his time as a student at UWC Atlantic College and a volunteer as a local rescuers of Southern down Beach.
