The ROOTS Conference

The ROOTS Conference will be held on January 19 and 20 at UWC Atlantic College. It is a student-led conference that allows African and Caribbean students to celebrate their culture and express a part of their history that they feel is often misrepresented. It is the first of its kind at UWC Atlantic College.

The organisers are hoping that this educational experience will pave the way for more discussions around diversity, awareness and acceptance at Atlantic College. ROOTS may be largely student-led, but it’s something the students want to share with the whole UWC community.

Articles and photographs will be posted in due course…
