Summer 2020 is just around the corner and our Summer Education programme, delivered through UWC Atlantic Experience, is now open for bookings.
This year we have four core programmes designed to develop leadership thinking and impact (GLE and GLE LAUNCHPAD); opening up a world of possibilities in Medicine, Health and Wellbeing (MEDICAMP) and giving you the opportunity to improve your English Language speaking and vocabulary skills (ELEA). These experiences are made even more unique as they are combined with a residential stay in a magical 12th Century castle by the sea and with outdoor adventures in the amazing landscape of South Wales. What’s not to like?
We are pleased to be able to share all the resources of our wonderful 122 acre campus, including the seafront, woodland and valley and to be able to provide young people with access to leaders and key practitioners in specific sectors.
We are really proud of the experience students from around the world have with us every summer, and how much they value the opportunity to develop leadership, communications and lifeskills, through all our programmes, to make lifelong friends and to experience what it’s like to be part of the UWC movement.
Our Summer Education Programme is based at UWC Atlantic, based in a 12th Century castle by the sea in Wales. You’ll have opportunities to explore the local area and experience the beauty of South
Wales and with a 122 acre site, including its own woodland, seafront, farm and valley, you’ll be able to take part in a diverse and intensive programme of activities including lifeguarding, kayaking, surfing, sailing, power boating, swimming, mountain walking, navigation, and climbing.
