Michael is a firm believer in ‘context based learning’. This happens when we get down to the nuts and bolts of actual practical engagement with the world and the people around us. Learning is a social activity and one that becomes enhanced through experience and interaction with our environment. Economics lends itself in the application of theoretical models to current affairs and it is only when we use these models and economic policies that we gain a deeper learning experience.
Martin is passionate about the central role education plays in developing future leaders who place sustainability as an integral and central part of every decision they make. He believes that only through education at all levels and a multidisciplinary approach that the real big issues facing the World will be successfully solved.
