UWC Atlantic College offers an exciting, inspiring and transformational education for students.
The curriculum includes the International Baccalaureate and a co-curricular programme, based on the college’s history of experiential learning. Teachers are here to liberate the learner and to help them to process ideas critically as opposed to teaching them to pass an exam. Our students learn skills and acquire tools that enable them to make a difference in the world over the course of their career. They become part of the International UWC community, something that will stay with them for the rest of their life.
The castle, here on campus, has a history going back 800 years and the college itself has been here for over 50 years. Students of nearly 90 nationalities engage with issues of the day and experience physical and academic challenge. They study in the castle, swim in the sea and take part in service within the local community.
I hope the information on these website pages about our students, teachers, alumni and the learning that takes place at UWC Atlantic College provides you with a good insight. Welcome to UWC Atlantic College.
